Fort Eustis is the home of the United States Army Transportation Corps, the military branch responsible for moving personell via truck, train, boat, or plane. The fort is located on 9,000 acres in Virginia's Hampton Roads area, on the western flank of Newport News. It contains the Army Transportation Museum, where visitors can observe tugboats, aircraft, tanks, and a slew of other military travel vehicles.
